From time to time, software updates may be released. Availability and release of these software updates are governed by this policy. This policy applies to all software available from LocalSEOAustralia.com

GENERAL SOFTWARE FEATURE UPGRADES

We have established a customer service tradition of providing complimentary updates to all software users without any charge. We intend to continue to do so in order to enhance the user experience with our software from time to time.

BUG FIXES

Our software is heavily tested for bugs prior to being released, however it is the nature of software that bug fixes may be required. When discovered, bug fixes may be issued from time to time and we encourage software users to inform us about bugs that they discover in order to assist us in making the fixes available.

UPDATES DUE TO MINOR GOOGLE CHANGES

Most of our software depends on Google and we don’t have any control on what changes Google makes to its websites, systems and services. If the Google updates are minor, we may provide software updates without any charge. The definition of minor or major update will be determined in context of the complexity of the change from the software perspective and this will be concluded at our discretion.

UPDATES DUE TO MAJOR GOOGLE CHANGES

Most of our software depends on Google and we don’t have any control on what changes Google makes to its websites, systems and services. If the Google updates are major, we may not be able to provide software updates without charge. This charge will, however, will be nominal and will be decided in context of the changes necessary to the software. We are consciously aware that our software is highly reasonably priced in comparison to our competitors in the Google Places software and services market – in fact most of our competitors charge monthly fees just to access their systems, even though they may not be providing any additional services to you throughout the months of service. We have decided to adopt a customer friendly model of payment, by only charging our customers when an update is needed. The definition of minor or major update will be determined in context of the complexity of the change from the software perspective and this will be concluded at our discretion.

REFUNDS IN THE EVENT OF SOFTWARE NOT WORKING DUE TO GOOGLE CHANGES

We will endeavor to provide updates to all software in accordance with the aforementioned. No refunds will be offered to customers in the event of the Google changes making the software redundant, due to us having no control on such changes by Google. There are 2 reasons for us having made this decision of no refunds:

a) We have delivered a working piece of software at the time of purchase. If the purchase was made within 30 days of the Google changes, please contact us via our contact form and we will consider refunding the payment to you.

b) In the event of service disruption due to Google changes, competitive services that charge you on a monthly basis will not offer refunds to you for the services you have used till that date. The most that these monthly services will offer you is a discontinuation of service, which means that you will not pay for their service from that point forward. The reality of the matter is that monthly membership sites make far more money from you on a monthly basis for providing little or no upgrades and as a result most service membership sites charge you without doing much in return for their pricing – they design their service in such a way to oblige you into monthly payments. We have offered you a convenient one-time payment and delivered high quality in the form of software and we will not accept being penalized for offering convenience and lesser charges for offering more long term value to our customers.

NO OBLIGATION

We have established a customer service tradition of providing complimentary updates to all software users without any charge. We intend to continue to do so in order to enhance the user experience with our software from time to time. For purposes of formality, as long as we have provided the software to you in working condition at the time of purchase, by making this software available to you, we are under no obligation to provide software upgrades. We will endeavor to make upgrades available to you at our own discretion from time to time.
